About the Recipe
The story: Black Garlic takes 12 days to ferment, and after that time ends up with a delicious toasted-molasses flavor, unlike any other. Partner the black garlic with gentle fruit juices and a bit of spice...next thing you know you have the perfect balance of sweet-heat that goes great on ribs, chicken and....you guessed it...Vanilla ICECREAM!
2 tbl of Garlic Breath Farm’s Black Garlic Hot Sauce, made by Gindo’s Spice of Life
1 pint vanilla ice-cream (pictured is a delicious non-dairy version we found)
1 cup mixed berries of choice (blueberries/raspberries/blackberries pictured)
1/2 bar crumbled dark chocolate (the darker the better to offset the sweet flavors)
1. Scoop ice-cream into bowls (we are not hear to tell you how much is enough)
2. Top with berries of choice
3. Add dark chocolate crumbles
4. Drizzle the Black Garlic Hot Sauce on top
Eat it. Repeat it.
